In addition, it is the responsibility of the client to verify before their initial session if their insurance covers Nurse Psychotherapists

Psychotherapy fees can vary based on a therapist’s qualifications, experience, and type of therapy approaches they use. Other factors include administrative costs (documentation and billing software), liability insurance, College registration, clinical supervision costs, ongoing education, virtual/office fees and costs of living.
RN Psychotherapist: An RN Psychotherapist is a registered nurse, regulated by the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), who has received additional training and education in psychotherapy and can also perform other nursing duties. They usually have a Master’s degree.
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying): must practice with Clinical supervision
Registered Psychotherapist: Has to have completed 100 clinical supervision hours and 450 Direct Client Contact hours. Must receive ongoing clinical supervision until they have completed 1000 direct client contact hours and 150 hours of clinical supervision.
Registered Psychotherapist Independent Practice: Have completed 1000 DCC hours and 150 hours of clinical supervision
Psychologist: Psychologists have doctorate degrees in psychology and offer talk therapy. They are also trained in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions.
Psychiatrist: A psychiatrist is a medical doctor with a specialty in psychiatry. They can diagnose and treat mental health disorders, often with medication management.
Counsellor: Counsellors provide guidance and support on a broad range of life challenges through emotional support, encouragement, and practical solutions. Counsellors are not regulated in Canada.

Our session are generally 50 minutes. I use the remaining 10 minutes to document
our session as per my college standards and to ensure that you received the best
quality care.
I completely understand when unexpected circumstances come up. If you need to cancel an appointment, I kindly ask that you do so with as much notice as possible.
