I firmly believe that everyone deserves a chance at healing, however, the healing journey can be scary and sometimes discouraging. It is my hope that in our work together, you won’t have to feel alone in what you are facing.
“Our ‘true self’ emerges by fully experiencing and processing our emotions in the presence of a ‘true other’.”

I am grateful for the opportunity to raise my family, work and provide mental health care on these lands, which are home to Indigenous Peoples across Turtle Island. It is my personal commitment to work towards reconciliation by advocating for access to care for Indigenous Peoples as well as to acknowledge the injustices of residential schools.

Sometimes it may feel like it is a slow process which is expected because healing happens when there is a therapeutic relationship of safety and trust. It is important to me that you can feel safe enough to process overwhelming emotions. Together, we will build safety at your own pace. I am in no rush. My formal training in AEDP and IFS has equipped me so that I can be with you every step of the way. I also integrate informed approaches to other modalities such as CBT and DBT. I hope you will book your free consultation with me to see if we are a good fit for your healing
Experiencing a change in your life may impact your sense of identity and self-worth. This may include but not limited to: Job loss, career change, marriage/divorce, adoption, illness, aging, dementia, caregiving, gender identity, transgender concerns, spiritual and religious beliefs, etc.
Trauma refers to a single traumatic event or a series that causes emotional and psychological harm. Complex trauma involves multiple or prolonged traumatic events often spanning years. This may include but not limited to: Intergenerational trauma, spiritual/religious trauma, and infertility and reproductive trauma.
Have you ever asked yourself, “When am I going to get over it?” Grief is the emotional response to a loss. David Kessler says, “You don’t get ‘over it’ you get ‘through it.’” Grief can include the loss of someone or something such as the death of someone or a pet in your life, or the end of a relationship. Perhaps you may be experiencing a type of loss when a person is physically present, but their mental state or emotional connection has significantly changed. Or is someone in your life facing a terminal or progressive illness and you’re already experiencing grief and loss before they die? Perhaps your experience of loss was so sudden, you haven’t quite started to process your emotions until weeks or months later. You may be experiencing a grief that is not openly acknowledged, socially supported, or publicly mourned (i.e. infertility, loss of an ex-spouse/partner, a family member with dementia).
Are you a healthcare professional experiencing physical, emotional and mental strain? Is your mental, physical, and emotional energy bank depleted due to prolonged work hours and stress? I hear you. I see you. I have been there.
Are you a leader in your organization who may be facing the constant pressure to perform, meet expectations and targets, manage a team while facing various external and internal pressures above you or below you? Or are you working in a toxic work environment of negativity, lack of support, or unhealthy power dynamics? This can feel very isolating and have negative impacts on your overall well-being.
Perhaps you are experiencing feelings of nervousness, worry, difficulty concentrating, restlessness. Or perhaps you may be experiencing feelings of sadness, tearfulness, loss of interest, fatigue, trouble with sleep, or changes in your appetite. I hope to walk alongside of you to help you manage these feelings and develop coping strategies.
Racial discrimination exists everywhere, at work, at the grocery store, and even in accessing health care or housing needs. I consider the intersectionality of how overlapping social identities such as race, gender, class, religious beliefs, abilities, financial status and sexual orientation, interact to create unique forms of discrimination and privilege.
I have worked with transgender individuals who have experienced discrimination, harassment and misgendering, a decrease in mental health, barriers to access healthcare, financial instability, refugee status, violence and abuse, substance use, feelings of isolation and community, and transition process challenges.
It is my hope that in our work together, you won’t have to feel alone in what you are facing. I believe that healing and transformation start from within. My approach is mainly in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), which focuses on healing and emotional growth by helping you access and process overwhelming emotions at your own pace. However, I will integrate other approaches to best fit your journey including spiritual integration if you find that spirituality is important to you. I consider the whole person –physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual –in the healing journey.
I plan on walking alongside you every step of the way to explore your struggles and find ways to lessen the burden you are carrying. I hope to shoulder the weight with you by working together on the following concerns that you may have:
I am sensing that you may be here because something must be really weighing heavily on you. Perhaps you may be experiencing the feeling of fear and loneliness of having to tackle something so big on your own. Or do you happen to be going through a life transition leading you to question your self-worth and identity? Do you wonder if there’s any hope after a traumatic event(s) that you had never asked for? Perhaps that trauma originated from many generations ago, from a tragic loss, or when your sense of safety was stolen from right underneath you.
